TV Remote is designed to control your television over your local Wi‑Fi network. We built it to do its job while collecting as little personal information as possible.

- Local network information needed to discover and communicate with TVs on the same Wi‑Fi network as your device. This stays on your device and your local network.

- Purchase and subscription status, which is processed by Apple. We receive confirmation of an active or expired subscription but never your full payment details.

Your local network and your TV
To find and control your TV, the App needs to communicate with devices on your local network. iOS may ask for permission to access devices on the local network — this is required for the remote to work. Commands are sent directly to your TV over your own Wi‑Fi.
Third‑party services
We may use trusted third‑party services for analytics, crash reporting and advertising. These providers process data on our behalf under their own privacy terms. Subscriptions and payments are handled by Apple under Apple’s Privacy Policy.
Data retention
Diagnostic and usage data is retained only for as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, after which it is deleted or anonymised.
Children's privacy
The App is rated 4+ and is intended for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.
